Let's Record.

We're booked into the studio with Thomas Mitchener of Broadfield Studios on the 29th/30th of this month to get another two album tracks recorded, we're still kinda deciding on what tracks we're gonna record but their looking likely to be White Snow & Mantis.

Progress on the writing front is smooth and has been the most collaborative writing we have done to date. The tracks are shaping up nicely and we're almost at a point where we're happy enough with the songs we've got to feature as album tracks.

Track listing/Ideas so far-

Polly Attack
Feels Right Inside
Re-Arrange
Say It Again
White Snow
Mantis
Devil Comes To Dine
My Grandmother Builds Machine Guns
Little Miss Lead
-
Charlies Dead
What Lead Me
Commit No Nuisance
Riot Patrol

We've been working on a short video blog which covers our writing/show at the indigO2 as well as us generally messing around in the Studio to date which you can view HERE!

We're gonna be in the studio from this month on so watch out for part 2 of the blog 'Recording The Album'.

It looks like we're gonna be doing a spot of recording this weekend commencing the 8th where we may get a couple of the new tracks recorded acoustically for you all to have a listen to.... keep your eyes PEELED!

WRITE REHEARSE WRITE REHEARSE

The writings going well and we're after only 3 and a bit months we're up to about 5 decent solid tracks

* My Grandmother Builds Machine Guns
* White Snow
* Charlie's Dead
* Mantis
* Devil Comes To Dine

Our plan is to have the album written and recorded by March 2011, which so far is looking likely to happen.

We're filming the rehearsals to eventually edit into a montage of what we get up to in the studio which will hopefully be up in a couple of weeks which will include Lee's impression of the mouse from Phone Jacker which by the way is amazing and Duncan making a sound by blowing air out of his perforated ear drum which is also quite amusing.

We recently recorded 'My Grandmother Builds Machine Guns' with Thomas Mitchener from Broadfield Studios as a taster of what's to come which is now up on our myspace, facebook and is available as a free download from musicglue.

Thanks a lot to everyone who came down to our Halloween show, we were overwhelmed with the amount of people that turned up! It was a blast and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. (sorry about the excessive smoke at one point)

We've decided to keep four tracks from the EP to feature on the album which will be Polly Attack, Re-Arrange and Feels Right Inside and Missing You which we'll be giving a facelift.

We'll be back in the studio in January.

What We Have Been Up To Of Late.

So as most of you already know we've been tied up in quite a long monotonous string of
competitions in the last 4 months which has meant we've not really had any time to write any new tracks. We've decided to cancel all our upcoming booked gigs and not take any booking for the next few months so that we can focus only on rehearsing and writing.

----------------

We will be playing one show which will be the Halloween Party at The Boot Inn in St.Albans on the 31st Oct - It will be your only opportunity to see us play any time soon.

---------------

We're booked into Broadfield Studios on the 20th October to record our new Single 'My Grandmother Builds Machine Guns'. Once done it will be available as a free online download.

--------------

Surface Unsigned

We recently played the IndigO2 for the Surface Unsigned National Final. Thanks to everybody who came to support us throughout the competition the support we got was overwhelming.

We managed to get the second highest judge score out of all 15 bands that played but still didn't manage to get into the top 3 winning bands.

WARNING: Surface Unsigned is NO T a talent competition

We're well excited about showcasing our new tunes.

See you on the other side.
